Community Engagement

At Attainable Homes Calgary (AHCC), we encourage all opinions to be heard. Building trust and fostering relationships with the communities that we build in, and making informed decisions based on community and all stakeholder feedback contributes to the reason why we exist—empowering hard-working, middle-income Calgarians by providing them with the means to buy homes, build equity and create financial stability.

We understand that successful communication is a two-way street and we are committed to providing communities with up-to-date, clear and transparent information on the projects that we undertake. We accomplish this by:

  • Creating fair, independent and meaningful participatory engagement processes in the early stages of development, and throughout decision-making process.
  • Creating opportunities for future engagement initiatives and establishing clear procedures to support the engagement framework.
  • Providing consistent and effective engagement processes whenever possible.
  • Evaluating the results of community engagement on a regular basis, in order to further support program education and new developments.
