Sharon McCormick
Sharon is the Executive Director for Attainable Homes Calgary Corporation. Prior to this role, Sharon served for over four years in the Mayor's office and was pivotal in developing the attainable home ownership model. Sharon's career began in a totally different direction first as an Ergonomics Specialist, Occupational Health and Safety Advisor, University lecturer for nine years and then leading to a Certified Human Resources Professional. Sharon has more than 15 years experience working in the public sector and has also led a very successful private consultancy business over the course of her career. What is clear across her diversity of experience is that the focus of Sharon's career has clearly been on helping people. This background and her energetic drive will serve her well in leading the operation of Attainable Homes Calgary Corporation. Outside of work, Sharon is committed to volunteering in her community as a Girl Guides of Canada leader for the past four years and as a member of her children's school council. She is also a member of Human Resources Institute of Alberta.
Jamie Findlay
Jamie is the Development Manager with Attainable Homes Calgary Corporation. Jamie has been working within the development industry, first as a consultant and then with development/builder organizations for the past 18 years. Recently serving as Executive Director for the Bow Valley Builders and Developers' Association, Jamie was previously Development Coordinator for Alpine Homes in Canmore. During his career, Jamie has worked on residential and commercial developments in Canmore, Calgary, Banff, Sylvan Lake, Kelowna, and Whistler. He is a member of the Project Management Institute, and has served on the Economic Development and Tourism Committee in Canmore as well as various working groups in conjunction with the development industry.
Tara Cooney
Tara Cooney is the Sales Lead for Attainable Homes Calgary Corporation (AHCC). An energetic and passionate individual, Tara brings 20 years of diverse experience in sales, marketing, management and event planning to the team at AHCC. With experience working in the local real estate market, and having obtained her real estate license and mortgage broker licenses, Tara brings an incredible depth of knowledge and expertise to her role at AHCC. An effective and dynamic professional, Tara's diverse background also includes education in sales and marketing, as well as travel and tourism. In addition to her many professional accomplishments, Tara has volunteered her time in the past to several charitable organizations, including an animal rescue foundation.
Kirsteen Jones
Kirsteen Jones is the Sales Assistant for Attainable Homes Calgary Corporation (AHCC). Kirsteen graduated from Mount Royal University with a Bachelor of Applied Financial Services and completed the Canadian Securities Course that same year. Prior to joining the team at AHCC, Kirsteen worked in the banking industry for six years in a variety of roles, most recently as a Credit Assistant at TD Financial. Her diverse background and expertise in finance and banking lends well to her new role as Sales Assistant. In addition to her many professional accomplishments, Kirsteen is an amateur athlete, who ran her first half marathon in 2009 and participates in numerous sports including soccer, snowboarding and tennis.
Melinda Channon
Melinda is the Executive Assistant for Attainable Homes Calgary Corporation. With an active interest in health and wellness, Melinda has a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Alberta and Certifications through AFLCA and ACE. She comes to the Attainable Homes team with a diverse professional background lending to a unique blend of expertise and knowledge. Melinda is also a mother of two very active boys and volunteers much of her personal time supporting their hockey, soccer and social schedules.
Robert Brunn
Robert Brunn is the Accountant (Contract) for Attainable Homes Calgary Corporation. Robert comes to the Attainable Homes team with extensive senior financial, public practice and consulting experience. He held a senior financial position with a large construction firm, before going into public practice and consulting in controllorship. Robert also teaches management accounting at SAIT and programs for the underemployed. In addition, Robert volunteers on the boards of a local retirement home, church and accounting association.
