David Laycock, Chair
David Laycock is a financial expert with over 10 years of experience in entrepreneurial ventures and new business start-ups, including a number of corporate and energy industry initiatives. Most recently, he has been a partner at North West Capital Partners focused on the creation, development and financing of new energy businesses. An honours graduate of the Harvard School of Business and Brigham Young University, David is no stranger to community building. His volunteer activities have included Campaign organizer, United Way's EvenStart program; Co-president, Harvard Business School Club of Calgary; Campaign organizer, EXIT Youth Shelter; extensive involvement in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and volunteer coach for community soccer and hockey teams.

Mayor Naheed Nenshi, Director
Naheed Nenshi is currently serving his first term as Mayor. As a community leader and passionate Calgarian, Naheed is committed to making our city work better and this includes ensuring there are adequate attainable housing options available. He is an accomplished business professional who has successfully run a large nonprofit organization, acted as a trusted advisor to corporate leaders in Canada and the US, and he literally wrote the book on Canadian cities. With a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard School of Business, Naheed has applied his knowledge and skills in making cities, especially Calgary, work better.  He's the lead author of Building Up: Making Canada's Cities Engines of Growth and Magnets of Development and has long been putting his ideas to work in Calgary. He is an active volunteer and community leader acting as Chairman of the EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts, working with the Calgary Foundation, the United Way, the Coral Springs Community Association, and Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids.  Hes also served on the leadership team of imagineCalgary, where he was a primary author of Calgarys 100-year vision, and is a co-founder of the Better Calgary Campaign and of CivicCamp.

Brian Pincott, Director

Brian Pincott was elected to Calgary City Council representing Ward 11 in October 2007. Since joining Council, he has worked enthusiastically on a number of housing issues, serving on the Enterprise Housing Task Force and also as Chair of the Board of Directors of Calgary Housing Company. Brian has strongly advocated for attainable housing and home ownership as a key component of building complete communities and achieving overall community sustainability to ensure the needs of current and future Calgarians are being met.

Adam Legge, Director
Adam Legge is the President & CEO of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce and fills this role as the youngest in its history. An economist by trade, Adam  has more than 13 years of experience including six years at Calgary Economic Development as Vice President and Chief Economist. In this role he oversaw the research, workforce development and creative industries activities of the company. Outside of work, Adam participates in a variety of community-based initiatives including chair of the board for WordFest, and serves on the TELUS Calgary Community Board and the United Way's Poverty Reduction initiative.
